And it's on again - the annual Elvis rugby union clash between the Blue Suede Shoes and the Reddy Teddies during the Parkes Elvis Festival.
No other time of the year or anywhere else will you witness more than 30 men kitted up in their hunky best, star-studded jumpsuits and big Elvis wigs, except for the Friday night of the Elvis Festival.
It's not officially part of the Elvis Festival program but it has certainly worked its way into becoming a permanent fixture and an event visitors and locals alike look forward to watching for the last six years.
It all simply started from Parkes rugby union players wanting to dress-up and get involved in the festival, and have a little fun.
And that's just what it is - a bit of fun and a laugh, one of the very reasons why the Parkes Elvis Festival began in the first place.
No official score is kept and players require regular breaks because of the heat, especially with a 42 degree day forecast for Friday.
Like every year it will be hot on and off the field and Elvii will have Pioneer Oval All Shook Up with their hip-swivelling rucks and mauls from 6.30pm Friday night.
Pioneer Oval is located in Alexandra Street, just up the road from Spicer Caravan Park and next door to tent city at Northparkes Oval.
Be sure to check out the Parkes Champion Post website for all the photos from the game - also full coverage of the entire festival and our daily live blog.
