AUSSIE music legend John Paul Young will headline a stellar line-up at the 2020 NSW Seniors Festival Premier's Gala Concerts.
Undoubtedly one of the most popular Australian artists of the 1970s, JPY will be joined by the delightful Vanessa Amorosi, Paulini and Alfie Arcuri.
Amorosi stopped the world in its tracks with her song Absolutely Everybody at the Sydney 2000 Olympics, while Fijian-born songstress Paulini rose to fame on the very first season of Australian Idol. Arcuri, a soul-inspired pop singer-songwriter, hit the mainstream after being crowned winner of The Voice in 2016.
"This year's concert will truly be 'Where the Action is' with the ultimate headline act, John Paul Young, singing Love is in the Air on Valentine's Day," said Acting Seniors Minister Geoff Lee.
The four gala concerts, at the First State Super Theatre at the ICC Sydney, Darling Harbour, on February 13-14, will be held in conjunction with the NSW Seniors Festival Expo in Exhibition Hall 4. Featuring more than 60 exhibitors, a Beatles cover band and lots of giveaways, the free expo promises a fun and informative day out.
Expo goers will be able to access the latest information on travel, lifestyle, health and other services from 9am on both days. There will be games, interactive stalls and free barista coffee thanks to sponsor Challenger at selected times.
Special guest, author, actor and screenwriter Judy Nunn, will give her thoughts on how age is no barrier.
Free tickets for the gala concerts (11.15am and 2.45pm both days) are available by calling 1300-130-613 or online at HERE until booked out. There is a maximum of four tickets per person, per concert.
People who register their attendance at the Seniors Festival Expo will go in the draw to win a five-night holiday to New Caledonia.
