PROMISING a feast for the senses with three days of food, flowers and entertainment - the popular Ginger, Flower and Food Festival is set to take place from January 17-19.
The festival will return to The Ginger Factory in Yandina on the Sunshine Coast, with the all weather attraction offering something for foodies, green thumbs and families.
It will showcase a vibrant range of ornamental gingers and heliconias - which thrive in the area's sub-tropical conditions.
Popular presenters Cath Manuel from Soil to Supper and horticulturalist Paul Plant will return to this year's festival.
Another highlight will be the festival's own Beehive flower, which will be on sale during the festival.
Visitors will have the chance to enter a competition for the right to name the flower and win a $200 voucher to spend on plants.
The festival will also boast an exciting line-up of Sunshine Coast chefs, including local favourite Matt Golinski and newcomers Lisa Maher from Makepeace Island and Dylan Campbell from Sum Yung Guys.
There will also be a wide variety of entertainment and attractions, including shopping, an Ice-Creamery, a live bee show, rides on Moreton the ginger train and a boat ride. Fees apply for tours and rides.
The factory is located on Pioneer Rd in Yandina and admission and parking is free.
