Peter Bence holds the Guinness World Record for most piano keys hit in one minute.

THE world's fastest piano player is heading to Australia for a lightning quick tour this November and December.

Acclaimed Hungarian pianist Peter Bence will perform shows in Perth, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne from November 27- December 2.

Peter has held the Guinness World Record for most piano keys hit in one minute - an astonishing 765, since 2012.

The performances will feature covers of hits by artists such as Queen, The Beatles, Sia and Michael Jackson, which have brought him fame on YouTube as well as compositions from his new album The Awesome Piano.

The quick fingered musician said he was excited to return to Australia after previously touring last year.

"I had a wonderful time in 2018 and it's great to be coming back with my new show," he said.

"I look forward to playing in one of the most iconic buildings in the world - the Sydney Opera House. It is a dream come true to play in such a majestic building."

Peter's videos have accumulated over 800 million hits since videos of his arrangements of Michael Jackson hits Badand Smooth Criminal went viral in 2015.

His expressive and percussive playing style has helped break down boundaries between classical and pop music.

Peter started playing piano at the age of two when he started playing back melodies from his favourite cartoon shows and films by ear on his grandparents' upright piano.

He commenced his musical education at the age of four in his hometown Hajduboszormeny in Hungary and was considered a prodigy by teachers and peers.

He wrote his first composition at the age of seven and recorded his first solo piano album of early compositions when he was 11.

He will perform at the Astor Theatre, Perth (November 27), The Fortitude Music Hall, Brisbane (November 30), Sydney Opera House (December 1) and Melbourne Recital Centre (December 2).
