IF you haven't experienced Araluen in WA in the spring, get a wriggle on.
The popular botanic park in the Darling Range is hosting Yates Springtime at Araluen throughout September, with a plethora of activities, entertainment and delectable delights available.
Guests can immerse themselves in the wonderful surrounds of tulip season and be captivated by daffodils, hyacinths, ranunculus, anemones and grape hyacinths, planted alongside the hundreds of thousands of other bulbs of the park.
Park general manager Suzy Parravicini said the event has to been seen to be believed. "If all the colour of the flora is not enough to capture you, there is so much more on offer, from live entertainment, children's activities and foodie havens throughout the park with so many restaurants and cafes ready and waiting," she said.
For garden gurus and nature lovers, Yates will be on hand at its information display to offer advice on how you can create some magic at home. Visitors can also drop by at the gift shop and take home your own tulip.
For those keen to explore the rest of the district, staff from the Perth Hills Armadale Visitors Centre well be available to provide details on attractions and activities. For the grandkids, there will also be an array of children's activities on offer.
