Flying into Oslo, Norway, travellers will take a sightseeing tour including the medieval fortress of Akershus, the 19th-century Royal Palace and the fascinating Vigeland Sculpture Park, which displays the life's work of Gustav Vigeland in bronze, granite and wrought iron.
After another day exploring Oslo, it's time to board the overnight ferry to Copenhagen, Denmark, to take in sights including the Amalienborg Palace, home of the royal family since 1794, the Radhus (city hall), 17th-century Dutch Baroque palace Charlottenborg and, of course, the Little Mermaid statue by Edvard Eriksen.

The Swedish capital of Stockholm, often referred to as the Venice of the North because of its many waterways and archipelago to the east, is the next port of call. Its 750-year history means there are many beautiful buildings and cultural treasures to be discovered in the city's many fine museums.
