SIX of Australia's finest voices will unite to perform 34 of the greatest songs of all time from opera and musical theatre in Melbourne next month.
Acclaimed bass-baritone Teddy Tahu Rhodes, tenor David Hobson, West End and Broadway star Caroline O'Connor, lyric coloratura soprano Emma Matthews, tenor Alexander Lewis - who recently played Tony in Opera Australia's West Side Story - and emerging artist Genevieve Kingsford star in the brand new production of From Broadway to La Scala.
From Puccini to Rodgers and Hammerstein, Bizel to Gershwin, Verdi to Cole Porter, Bernstein to Lloyd Webber, this bi-annual concert event is renowned for its world-class presentation of some of the greatest songs, arias and duets of the last two centuries.
Backed by one of Australia's finest orchestras, the show has become one of the country's most popular orchestral concerts.
It follows two previous sold-out tours - and this year's looks set to be the finest yet.
