LEADING violinist Vadim Gluzman is heading to South Australia for his only Adelaide performance for the year.
On June 23, Gluzman and Australian pianist Daniel de Borah will team up for a Recitals Australia performance to remember.
Gluzman is known for bringing new life the violinistic tradition of the 19th and 20th centuries.
His wide repertoire embraces new music and his performances are heard around the world through live broadcasts.
The Israeli violinist has appeared with the Berlin Philharmonic, Boston Symphony, Orchestre de Paris, Leipzig Gewandhaus, Israel Philharmonic, London Symphony Royal Concertgebouw and many others.
Joining him will be Melbourne-born Daniel de Borah.
Since his prize-winning appearances at the 2004 Sydney International Piano Competition, de Borah has toured extensively throughout the United Kingdom and Australia.
As a concerto soloist he has appeared with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, English Chamber Orchestra, the London Mozart Players, Australian Chamber Orchestra and the Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Canberra and Auckland Symphony Orchestras.
The performance starts at 7pm in Elder Hall, North Terrace.
