QUEENSLAND Museum's largest ever exhibition, NASA - A Human Adventure, is breaking attendance records.
The exhibition, which runs until October 9, is a thrilling journey of humankind's exploration of space and includes several space-flown items, rocket engines, a collection of space suits and several full-scale replicas including the front of NASA's space shuttle, lunar rover, Mercury, Gemini and Apollo space crafts and Soviet robotic lunar rover Lunokhod.
Queensland Museum Network chief executive Jim Thompson said the exhibition was the largest to be hosted at Queensland Museum both in terms of size and the number of objects on display with more than 250 items in the 1000 sq m exhibition space.
"NASA - A Human Adventure continues to enthrall visitors who are over the Moon to be learning more about mankind's exploration of the unknown," Dr Thompson said.
