Rivera Place, the $13 million extension of Hawkesbury Living aged care delivers exceptional personal and medical care to the Hawkesbury.

The project, initiated by the Richmond Club Group, Hawkesbury's community heart, sees 44 additional aged and specialist care beds supplied to the district which is in desperate need for services.

Its impressive, contemporary, 4.5 star fit-out, offers three levels of specialist care suites including premium suites with living area and private ensuite, as well as companion suites.

It complements the innovative Humanitas Model of Care adopted by Hawkesbury Living - ensuring choice, independence, inclusion, companionship and most importantly "age in place" connecting residents to their community.

Rivera Place features views across historic Richmond Park and to the Blue Mountains, 5-star chef service, and Maggie Beer Foundation food choices.

But it's more than the sum of its parts. Hawkesbury Living believes that everyone deserves to live with purpose and dignity.

"Our mantra "Trust in Care" flows through everything we do at Rivera Place and Hawkesbury Living," Group CEO Kimberley Talbot said.

"We are seriously committed to the principles of social inclusion through all our services, as well as social issues and improving local community infrastructure.

"We are not just a club, we invest in the community, we are the Community Heart."

Hawkesbury Living offers excellence in high care, memory care and respite services.

While you can be assured of the best clinical and medical care, Rivera Place's suites are designed with "the feeling of home". Spacious and modern, with communal areas for family functions, lounge areas and internet corners.

Richmond Club also runs a social activity schedule connecting residents with their community. It is located in the heart of Richmond, close to shops, cafes, a cinema, opposite historic Richmond Park and accessible public transport.

"We focus on wellness rather than illness, providing local access to health care, and alternative lifestyle choice to traditional aged care models," Ms Talbot said.

The opening of Rivera Place in June is the third stage of the master vision, with the next phase including the development of a retirement community adjacent to Richmond Club and co-located within a village square and wellness centre.

Places are now open.
