FIVE-STAR resort Wyndham Sundancer Lombok is celebrating the start of direct flights from Perth to the Indonesian island of Lombok by offering guests the opportunity to stay for one night for one dollar.
However before you rush to book, be aware the offer is for the first night only of a minimum three-night stay in a one-bedroom suite. Subsequent nights will be charged at rates starting from $130
AirAsia has just announced the direct route between the Western Australian capital and the island, which offers sights and natural attractions to rival neighbouring Bali. Flights will run four times a week, from June 9 on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
Bookings must be made by April 30 for stay dates between June 9 and June 30.
Those interested in taking the inaugural flight on June 9 will enjoy some extra benefits - return car transfer, breakfast for two, 30-minute spa treatment for two and an invitation to a cocktail reception by the beach
The Wyndham Sundancer Lombok is located on the island's southern coast, overlooking the Lombok Straits and the Southern Gilis, a collection of 13 islands with white sand beaches and picturesque reefs.
The all-suite resort offers a large lagoon-style pool, three dining options, a day spa and wellness centre with its own juice bar, and an onsite dive centre to book diving excursions.
The resort's one and two-bedroom suites each feature complimentary Wi-Fi, air conditioning, kitchen facilities and a generous bathroom with shower and oversized bath.
