DISCOVERY– Rottnest Island is the first new accommodation on Rottnest Island, WA, in more than 30 years.
The 2.8-hectare property is nestled behind the dunes of Pinky Beach, with 83 fully furnished "eco-tents", a resort pool and pool bar, along with the property’s centrepiece, Pinky’s Beach Club.
Each eco-tent has an en-suite bathroom, pillow-topped bed and furnished private decks. Many also include kitchenettes, with the Deluxe tents boasting beachfront views and walk-in wardrobes.
All are linked via walkways and boardwalks to Pinky’s Beach Club.
“Rotto” is a special place for West Australians, with locals making up the vast majority of visitors to the island, famous for its quokkas. Now intestate and overseas visitors have even more reason to discover it.
Ferries to Rotto take about 25 minutes from Fremantle, 45 minutes from Hillarys Boat Harbour or 90 minutes from Perth's Barrack Street Jetty.
