The sands of Cottesloe Beach will be transformed into an al-fresco art gallery in March when the Sculpture by the Sea exhibition returns.
Now celebrating its 15th year, the exhibition is one of Perth’s largest free events, attracting around 250,000 visitors.
More than 70 Australian and international artists are set to showcase their work across the 18-day exhibition.
Some of WA’s leading sculptors exhibiting include Fremantle-based public artist and designer Anne Neil and her husband, artist and sculptor Stephen Tepper, as well as Italian-Australian artist Alessandra Rossi.
The exhibition is displayed from the sea wall all the way along the sand towards North Cottesloe and on the surrounding grassed areas, creating a beautiful sculpture park.
Access to Cottesloe Beach can be made from the ramps or stairs at locations along Marine Parade.
During the exhibition, free artist talks will take place on Cottesloe Beach every weekend between 10am and 3pm.
Sculpture Inside is an indoor exhibition of sculpture by exhibiting artists and selected invited artists to coincide with the outdoor exhibition.
