ALDI supermarkets have recalled a brand of mayonnaise from stores after the packaging was found to be faulty.
A notice on the Australian Food Standards website warns the 466 gram jar of Colway Real Mayonnaise has been recalled because of the potential of glass breakage and glass contamination.
Anyone who has bought a jar of the mayonnaise should not eat it but should return it to its place of purchase for a full refund.
ALDI has apologised saying it takes product quality and safety seriously.
Yesterday popular dessert item Nanna’s Family Apple Pie was recalled across Australia due to the potential presence of glass in an ingredient.
