SPECTACULAR coastal views and a huge resort style infinity pool with impressive vistas to the southern Great Barrier Reef. And it’s free for anyone to use.
The Yeppoon Lagoon Precinct is the Capricorn Coast's newest signature tourist attraction, located right on the beachfront overlooking Yeppoon's Main Beach.
The pool includes a shallow children’s play area, an informal lap swimming area and shaded areas in and around the lagoon.
It's a great spot for a picnic with barbecues, tables, large playground and brightly coloured deckchairs
The two-storey pavilion building offers dining areas overlooking the entire precinct and coastline.
There is wheelchair access and the lagoon is patrolled daily by lifeguards.
The lagoon is located in the heart of Yeppoon, just minutes from luxury beachfront accommodation, gourmet dining and a thriving retail precinct.
Great Keppel Island is just a 30-minutes ferry trip away.
Yeppoon is easily accessible by road, rail, coach, and air and is situated 35km northeast of Rockhampton in Central Queensland. “Rocky” is a one-hour flight from Brisbane.
