POLICE have seized $8 million worth of ice following a raid on a Central Coast property on Friday.
The drugs were allegedly found concealed in a consignment of industrial equipment addressed to a business in Tuggerah, NSW.
Police also seized $300,000 cash, a conductive electric device, documentation, and other items relevant to the investigation in a series of raids in nearby suburbs conducted as part of Strike Force Gilbulla.
Detectives from the State Crime Command’s Organised Crime Squad charged a 42-year-old man with two counts of import commercial quantity of border controlled drug.
He appeared in Wyong Local Court on Saturday and was refused bail to appear in Sydney Central Local Court on August 9.
Police investigations are continuing.
