POPULAR garden writer and Channel 9 Garden Gurus presenter Melissa King will lead Travelrite International’s six-day exploration of the best and most interesting gardens of northern Tasmania in November.
The tour will visit historically significant heritage gardens in and around Launceston and Burnie, including Woolmer’s Estate, Wychwood Gardens and Nursery and the Emu Valley Rhododendron Garden.
Former Gardening Australia and Australian Home Beautiful editor Tony Fawcett will lead a 13-day tour to discover the wildflowers of Western Australia in September.
Tour members will enjoy the Pinnacles in Namburng National Park and visit Mullewa with its carpets of everlastings, native foxgloves, wattles, banksias and coral wreath flowers. Visits will also be made to Boranup Forest and The Secret Garden with travellers moving between Perth, Geraldton, Albany, Margaret River and Pemberton.
