A NEW online seminar series has been designed to help people learn more about schizophrenia, bipolar, depression, sleep health, building resilience and new treatments for chronic pain.
NeuRAtalks.org features a range of seminars presented by leading Australian neuroscientists who share their insights into research and discoveries.
"At NeuRA (Neuroscience Research Australia), we're transforming how the latest neuroscience research and insights are shared, to ensure those living with mental health disorders, or who have a loved one affected, can find out the latest information on research developments in an easy-to-understand and educational format," said director and chief executive Professor Peter Schofield.
"We are particularly aware of the need for greater access to engaging information in rural or remote areas, and hope that NeuRAtalks.org will be a step towards achieving this."
Early in 2017, NeuRA began making knowledge and research more accessible with the launch of the NeuRA Discovery Portal.
The first of the online libraries in the portal is the Schizophrenia Library, which features more than 450 carefully curated pages, with downloadable information sheets for community, and technical sheets for practitioners or specialists.
The Discovery Portal will continue to grow and feature content on a range of research areas.
