A NEW app could help Australians retire more comfortably.
Netshell is designed to give users financial data and know-how at their fingertips, including their current financial position, future projections and advice on achieving their retirement goals.
It was launched by Brisbane firm Collins Mann Private Wealth Management to provide long-term financial projections instead of day-to-day budget management solutions, like the majority of apps on the market.
The app generates projections with interactive graphs after users enter in some demographic details, desired retirement age and their basic financial information, including their income and debt.
It also features a simple graph showing users' financial positions in a nutshell.
The firm's director Mark Collins said the app could provide a significant benefit to baby boomers.
"Nettshell is a fantastic tool to demonstrate and manage your financial position, however having financial advisors available for additional support and advice is crucial to see positive outcomes for users," he said.
The app is available on iPhone and Android smartphones from iTunes and Google Play for $4.49.
