A story in the May edition of The Senior featured the innovative Solax Travel Mobility scooter.
Incorrect data on the weight and maximum speed specifics was used in that story.
The Solax Travel has been designed for anyone who wants a lightweight travel solution and it weighs just 23.5kg, with each battery weight an added 1.5kg.
The Solax Travel folds and unfolds seamlessly in five seconds with the push of a lever.
When folded it pulls along behind you like hand luggage.
It has a complete aluminium frame and lithium batteries which ensures that it is plane certified.
When in use, the Solax Travel has a maximum speed of six kilometres an hour and can travel up to 20km before it needs recharging.
This nifty little scooter is ideal for anyone with limited mobility who still enjoys getting around on holidays or a short break.
Peter Fraser, general manager of Lifestyle Mobility in South Australia, said an increasing number of people who had difficulty walking were still keen to travel, both within Australia and internationally.
"The reality is that some seniors have issues with mobility, maybe not enough for them to abandon their travel dreams, but still enough to impact their travel plans," Peter said.
"Frequently the traditional scooter is just not suitable for travel.
"The solution is one of the new generation compact travel scooters."

Here are some safety tips for when you are out and about on your mobility scooter:
. If you can, plan a route that allows access to a footpath for the entire journey.
. Check for kerb ramps or driveways you can use for safe crossings.
. Be extra cautious when leaving the kerb to cross the road.
. At a pedestrian crossing, wait until the traffic has stopped before crossing.
. Be aware of pedestrians around you and be ready to stop if necessary.
. Keep an eye out for vehicles entering and leaving driveways.
. Avoid highways, roundabouts, major roads and heavy vehicles.
. If you have no alternative but to use the road, face oncoming traffic.
. Attach an easily visible safety flag to your chair.
. If possible, attach rear view mirrors to your chair.
