EVERYTHING will be coming up roses in Tasmania in November as the 2015 Festival of Roses turns the Woolmers Estate into a blooming masterpiece.
Thousands of visitors are again expected to explore the gardens and grounds of the heritage listed estate and view more than 5,000 roses in the rose garden.
The Festival also includes 70 stalls offering an array of Tasmania's finest produce such as wallaby hamburgers and kebabs, wood fired pizzas, sausage sizzles, Devonshire teas, crepes, pastries and breads, as well as a selection of wines and ciders from local vineyards.
One of the major attractions is Celebrity chef and Masterchef finalist Ben Millbourne who promotes Tassie produce on his show Bens Menu. Ben will be cooking up a storm and will even cook off against one lucky visitor in a "mystery box" challenge.
Other attractions include plant nurseries, jewellery stalls, an art exhibition, whip cracking, chainsaw art, vintage farm machinery, cars and fun activities for children including a bouncing castle, face paining and balloons.
Live entertainment will feature the West Tamar Band, Cody Gunton, Don Ives and the Tassie Drum Circle as well as tai chi and belly dancing displays.
