AN ONLINE tech and gadget store topped consumer complaints to NSW Fair Trading in February.
Android Enjoyed was the subject of 45 complaints, and is at the top of the latest monthly NSW Fair Trading Complaints Register.
Twenty-seven companies are in the spotlight after receiving a total of 495 complaints.
“The register lists the traders that are the subject of 10 or more complaints to Fair Trading in a single calendar month – and this is the second-biggest register we have ever published,” said Minister for Better Regulation Matt Kean.
Electrical goods and homewares again dominated the top spots, with Harvey Norman, Samsung Electronics, Kogan and Apple rounding out the top five.
“A well-informed consumer is never a bad thing,” Mr Kean said. “Our register gives consumers the information they need to make the best possible decision about where to spend their hard-earned cash.
“At the same time, the register sends a strong message to businesses to pull up their socks and do better by their customers.”
