"With nearly 240 000 older Australians receiving permanent residential care in the last year, the committee is interested in how quality can best be achieved and maintained within the provider structure," said committee chair Trent Zimmerman.
"The committee will be hearing from government agencies, medical professionals and family members of aged care recipients about the standard of current care in aged care facilities."
Hearing dates:
- Sydney - March 5, 9am-4pm, Preston Stanley Room, Parliament of NSW, Sydney.
- Melbourne - March 6, 10.45am-3.20pm, Committee Room G6, Parliament of Victoria, Melbourne.
