SNAP happy Aussies both amateur and professional are invited to submit images that depict their interpretation of life in Australia for one of the country's most prestigious photography exhibitions and prizes.
Entries close on July 28 for the City of Sydney Australian Life photography competition, with 20 finalists selected by the judges and blown up into large-scale portraits for the exhibition from September 14 to October 8.
The winner will be announced at the opening of the exhibition, part of the city's Art and About Sydney program.
"Australian Life is a much-anticipated annual exhibition that has attracted hundreds of thousands of images since it first began 15 years ago," said Lord Mayor Clover Moore.
"Whether it's a humorous take on life or a shot of a remote landscape, we want to see inspiring and thought-provoking images that represent the many different experiences of life in Australia."
