'It will hit consumers hard': eBay hits back at $5 parcel tax proposal

ONE of the world's largest online retailers has lashed a federal government proposal to hit shoppers with a $5 tax on overseas parcels, warning it will "hit consumers hard" and was a rejection of free trade principles.
