SWAP city life for a resort lifestyle on the historic Copper Coast, just a 90-minute drive from Adelaide.
On the northern Yorke Peninsula - an area famed for its beaches, clifftop walks and historic ruins - is the Copper Coast Lifestyle Village.
Close to shops, beaches, fishing spots, cafes and the golf course, the Moonta village is the latest addition to the Auscare Retirement portfolio.
The village changed hands in September, with Auscare Retirement director Colin Heron assuring residents everything would be business as usual at when it came to the running of the village.
"We're excited to take over," he said. "We love the Copper Coast area, it's a beautiful spot... We're already working on some upgrades at the village."
He said residents' wellbeing and happiness was top priority, with the village offering high quality facilities and an active social club.
As well as a heated pool and spa, the village has a bowling green, workshop, fruit and veggie garden and community centre designed to encourage flexible use of space, and a family outdoor barbecue area for entertaining family and friends.
Auscare Retirement has 20 years of experience in the field and owns lifestyle villages in Hackney, Unley, Warradle, Brighton, Camden Park and Seaford Rise.
Your place or mine?
Steeped in history Moonta was South Australia's second largest town in its heyday.
In 1861, the story goes, a shepherd spotted traces of copper on a wombat burrow, which let to the establishment of one of the richest copper mines in Australia, the Moonta Mining Company.
This led to a flood of miners from Cornwall - and the Cornish heritage is still evident today with the town famous for its Cornish pasties.
As well as many old beautiful old buildings, churches and historical sites there is also the Moonta Mines Museum to check out as well as the Moonta Mines Walking Trails and Tourist Railway.
Every two years the region plays host to the Kernewek Lowender - the world's biggest Cornish festival.
