IT'S official - cake can make the world a better place.
The Red Cross is calling on families throughout Australia to throw on their aprons and get baking for the Big Cake Bake to help raise funds for the organisation's work at home and abroad.
This year the focus is on the fellas.
Last year males accounted for only 8 per cent on event hosts.
Ambassador and chef Adrian Richardson has made it his personal mission to inspire more men to get involved in the event.
"Big Cake Bake is the perfect event for us fellas to show what we're capable of in the kitchen," he said.
"You'll be helping Red Cross raise funds to continue their life-saving work with some many families, and you never know whose day you might make that little bit brighter."
Adrian has made it even easier for the blokes by sharing his special Anzac biscuit recipe.
People can get involved by organising a simple morning tea or a more competitive-style bake off.
The official celebrations will be taking place on October 28, but events can be held throughout October.
