BEAUTIFUL finches feature on a new stamp issue.
Australia has 19 species of this small bird, and the four starring on this set are the distinctive blue-faced parrot-finch (Erythrura trichroa), the double-barred finch (Taeniopygia bichenovii), the brightly coloured star finch (Neochmia ruficauda) and the zebra finch (Taeniopygia guttata).
And if you missed getting your hands on a Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games stamp, here's your chance. This year's event was the fifth time Australia has hosted the "Friendly Games".
