AN extra 1000 free tickets have been released for the NSW Seniors Festival Premiers’ Gala Concerts.
Featuring Aussie entertainer David Campbell and songstress Marcia Hines, the concerts are always a major highlight of the festival program.
“We value the wonderful contribution seniors make across the State and this is the NSW Government’s way of saying thank you,” said Premier Gladys Berejiklian.
“I can’t wait to see David Campbell, Marcia Hines, country singer Darren Coggan and the dancers from Brent Street light up the stage.”
Minister for Ageing Tanya Davies said 500,000 people are expected to participate in events across NSW for the festival’s 60th anniversary.
“If you missed out on concert tickets during the initial offering, be sure to get on the phone to Ticketek to secure your last minute seat to this music extravaganza, or book a spot at the Comedy Show,” Mrs Davies said.
“This year the festival turns 60 years young so to celebrate we’re making it bigger and better. Yoga, Zumba, jazz concerts, treadmill bingo, art classes, cooking lessons, you name it we’ve got it happening somewhere across the State.”
The Premier’s Gala Concerts and NSW Seniors Festival Expo will be held on April 5 and 6, 2018 at the International Convention Centre Sydney.
Hundreds of free or low cost events and activities are happening across the State during the NSW Seniors Festival from 4 April to 15 April 2018. Major drawcards include the Seniors Expo in Darling Harbour, which is being held next door the Gala Concerts, and the Comedy Show.
The final release tickets are available from 9am from Ticketek, 1300-130-613.
