CLEAR your palate and your schedule, wine lovers are heading to Melbourne this month to serve up award-winning wines at the annual Cellarmasters’ Meet the Makers.
The event at Docklands is a rare opportunity to sample up to 60 prize wines and meet makers including Neil McGuigan, Gwyn Olsen and Nick Badrice.
“There are so many wines but so little time, however Meet the Makers allows you to explore new wines while hearing the unique stories behind each vintage direct from the maker,” said Cellarmasters’ cellar director Christine Rickets. “It’s a lovely evening of tasting and learning.”
Mr McGuigan said the event was a great opportunity for winemakers to connect with people.
“I love meeting with people and explaining the philosophy behind our wine making and giving them hints about the different notes they can taste in our range,” he said.
