It's a rerelease of Strict Rules: The Blackfella - Whitefella Tour by journalist Andrew McMillan and originally published in 1988.
The 2017 edition includes an epilogue written by Oils frontman Peter Garrett and was republished to coincide with the band's reunion tour.
Strict Rules documents the band's 1986 tour with the Warumpi Band to remote Aboriginal communities in central Australia and the Top End.
McMillan witnessed the tour first hand and has captured the drama, excitement and the music.
As Garratt writes in his epilogue "McMillan's account of the The Blackfella - Whitefella Tour, across the western desert and the Top End of the Northern Territory we undertook with the Warumpi Band way back in 1986, still hums with the fevered atmosphere of the time."
