With only 42 homes, Living Choice Deepwater Court in Woy Woy has a reputation for being a small, friendly retirement village that is very much in demand. Residents just love the sense of belonging that comes from living in a closely knit community.

Despite its small size, the pet-friendly village has excellent community facilities and is also very conveniently situated, within walking distance of Deepwater Plaza and its wide range of shops, including Coles and Kmart.

Woy Woy is renowned for its relaxed seaside charm and easy accessibility to the train station and Sydney. The Brisbane Water is just around the corner from the village and residents love to walk to the Fishermen’s Wharf, where they can enjoy an authentic Australian fish and chip experience.

The community centre is the heart of the village and includes a lounge and bar, indoor heated pool, gym, library, art and craft room and billiards. There are many activity groups such as craft and knitting, chair yoga, Canasta, Mahjong and marching. The nearby Everglades Country Club caters for both golf and bowls enthusiasts and the iconic Woy Woy Bowling Club is also close by.

The village has its own bus and takes residents on regular excursions and shopping trips. With the Woy Woy Station so close, you can also be on a train to Sydney or Newcastle within minutes and regular bus services are within easy access.

There is a 24-hour emergency response system installed in all units and common areas and the village manager is fully trained in Advanced First Aid. A Carer also visits the village each week to attend to any care requests.

Living Choice Australia Ltd

Creating Australia’s finest retirement villages

From humble beginnings at Davistown, NSW in 1992, Living Choice Australia has grown to become one of the largest and most respected retirement village companies in Australia.

The directors, Adelaide born-and-bred businessmen Ian Tregoning and Graham Hobbs, have extensive experience in the hospitality industry through their company Hotel Consultancy Services. They purchased Living Choice Australia Ltd in December 2003 and over the years, have expanded the Living Choice portfolio to more than 1,575 units and 2,114 residents in three states.*

There are now nine operating Living Choice villages in Australia - at Davistown, Kincumber and Woy on the Central Coast, Marsfield and Glenhaven in Sydney, Kawana Island and Twin Waters on the Sunshine Coast and at Fullarton and Woodcroft in Adelaide. Plans are also well-advanced for further villages at Galston in NSW and Sunshine Cove in Maroochydore.

Ian and Graham are not only committed to creating highly desirable communities where residents can embrace all the opportunities to enjoy their retirement – they are also mindful that residents may need more care in the future. Together with Estia
Health and Arcare, aged care facilities are being built on site, where possible, and alliances have been formed with aged care providers to enable residents to access a range of services.
