AUSTRALIA'S first-ever LEGO attraction has opened at Chadstone Shopping Centre in Victoria.
The first of its kind in the southern hemisphere it covers 2800 sq m and contains more than two million Lego bricks and a 4D cinema.
Some of Melbourne's best-known landmarks will be showcased in LEGO, including the MCG, Federation Square, Flinders Street Station and the Shrine of Remembrance.
With build and play areas, interactive rides and thousands of LEGO bricks, the grandchildren will be able to let their imaginations run wild.
More than 300,000 visitors are expected to visit LEGOLAND in its first year.
The LEGOLAND Discovery Centre is part of the $660 million redevelopment of the Chadstone Shopping Centre, south of Melbourne.
