WENDY Wu Tours have released their new Discovery Tours range and are offering a $200 discount per person on selected departures for bookings by November 30.
These tours have been introduced to offer a more active and experiential holiday for small groups with up close and personal cultural experiences in lesser visited locations. The tours will travel deeper into China and beyond the furthest reaches of Tibet and Nepal, to Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan and through the stark plains of Mongolia.
Wendy Wu’s 17-day Reflections of Vietnam tour travelling from Hanoi to Saigon, for example, uses a variety of transportation including bicycles and walking, kayaking and travelling by rickshaw.
Highlights include a hike through the Sapa rice terraces and minority villages in the far north, Tai Chi and caves kayaking in Halong Bay, walking and cycling tours through Hoi An, exploring the Mekong Delta local villages by rickshaw and spending a night in a homestay.
This tour departs on September 10 and again on November 12 and includes return economy airfare, 15 nights’ accommodation (including one night in a train berth and one night on board a junk boat on Halong Bay) and all meals and transport in Vietnam.
It is priced from $4,260 from Sydney and Melbourne, from $4,580 from Brisbane, Adelaide and Canberra and from $4,480 from Perth.
