THE award-winning Pacific Dunes Golf Club in Port Stephens has released new Fly, Stay and Play packages that make it easier and even more attractive to enjoy a golfing break in the region.
The club, two-and-a-half hours north of Sydney, has partnered with accommodation providers, shuttle services and airline, Fly Pelican, which offers 40-minute flights from Sydney to Port Stephens, to create packages ideal for a golfing getaway with friends or family.
The packages are:
- Mercure Newcastle Airport package: One night's accommodation just 10 minutes from Pacific Dunes, breakfast, green fees for 18 holes and lunch at The Greenhouse Eatery, a new restaurant on the club grounds. Cost is from $163 per person twin share (midweek), with a $30 per person surcharge on weekends. Longer stay options are available.
- Ramada Resort package: One night's accommodation at the seaside resort at Shoal Bay in Port Stephens, green fees for 18 holes and lunch at the Greenhouse Eatery. Cost from $147.50 per person twin share (weekdays), with a $20 surcharge per person for weekends. Longer stay options available.
Add on direct flights from Sydney with Fly Pelican from $59 one way, including 20kg of baggage and all taxes. Newcastle airport is just 10 minutes from Pacific Dunes and 25 minutes from Nelson Bay in the heart of Port Stephens.
