THE city of Geraldton on Australia’s Coral Coast transforms into a booklover’s paradise each May when The Big Sky Readers & Writers festival takes over the town.
You can join an eclectic mix of Australian authors, illustrators, photographers and musicians from May 20-22 for a jam-packed program of events.
Headlining the West Australian Festival is much-loved Aussie actor and now author Steve Bisley who will provide the keynote address based on his memoir Stillways.
The Festival, now in its 11th year, will comprise more than 22 events over three days with additional highlights including Poetry in the Pub and The Great Debate.
Venues across Geraldton will be sharing in the creative spirit, so visitors can explore everything from libraries and museums to taverns and cafés whilst participating in both free and ticketed sessions.
