A MOVING photo tribute incorporating images of mothers, grandmothers and special women will be the centrepiece of a Mother’s Day Service of Remembrance at South Australia’s Enfield Memorial Park.
The special Adelaide Cemeteries Authority service will be held from 10.30-11.30am on May 14. The free event is designed to bring together South Australian families and friends to honour the memories of mothers across the generations.
“Mother’s Day is a significant event for people from all cultures, faiths and backgrounds,” said authority chief executive Robert Pitt.
“Our mothers live on through the memories we share.”
To have your mother remembered in a photo tribute during the service, simply email your photo in JPEG format, along with your contact number and your mother's name, to: events@aca.sa.gov.au
You will receive a confirmation email of its receipt.
Alternatively, take your photo to the Enfield Memorial Park Visitors Centre 8.30am-4.30pm Monday to Friday and it will be scanned while you wait.
Tributes are limited to one photo per person and must be received by noon on May 12.
A range of complimentary hot beverages provided by Saint Espresso Coffee Truck will be available in the park prior to the service, while complimentary refreshments, including Greek loukoumades from the Honey Puff Ladies, will be available at the end of the event until 12.30pm.
Free tickets can be booked online.
