WESTERN Australian community groups can now apply for Disability Awareness Week grants.
The funding is available for groups to hold events promoting accessible and inclusive communities.
Community, local and non-government groups can apply for $500 to run events such as film festivals, barbecues and arts programs.
WA Disability Services Minister Donna Faragher said the grants help groups get involved in the week.
"They are designed to support the development of creative and inclusive events that are both accessible and inclusive to a wide range of people," Ms Faragher said.
Disability Awareness Week runs from November 27 to December 3, the International Day of People With Disability.
Grant applications close October 7.
