ARE YOU thinking of downsizing and making the move into retirement living, but don't know where to start?
If you're in Victoria or South Australia you can get advice from aged care property and finance experts at a series of masterclasses run by Lendlease this month.
The retirement living sessions will cover four topics - Discover Downsizing, Make the Move, Selling Solutions and Sea Change - and will be held in several Lendlease retirement community locations.
Retirement and aged care finance expert and author Rachel Lane, who co-wrote the book Aged Care, Who Cares? with The Senior's financial commentator Noel Whittaker, will share her tips at Port Philip Village in Altona, Vic, on March 23, Tannoch Brae in St Albans Park, Vic, on March 30 and Vermont Estate in Plympton, SA, on March 31.
Ms Lane, the principal of Aged Care Gurus, has been working in financial services for more than 15 years and specialising in retirement and aged care for over a decade.
TV property guru and Selling Houses Australia host Andrew Winter will host the Discover Downsizing masterclasses Classic Residences Brighton in Brighton East, Vic, on March 24, and Townsend Park in Hove, SA, on March 30.
Advice on what to do when selling your property will be dished out by representatives from property services business Home Suite at Highvale in Fiddlers Green in Berwick, Vic, on March 23, and Waverley Country Club in Rowville, Vic, on March 24.
And on March 25, anyone thinking of making a sea change can head to a Sea Change Open Day at Koorootang Court and Martha's Point villages - both on the Mornington Peninsula - and enjoy a village tour and inspection.
All events are free, but bookings are essential.
