ACT Seniors Week is a great time to get your hearing in order according to Australian Hearing Canberra manager Liza Sarris.
“We encourage seniors to be proactive about their hearing health and visiting our booth at this year’s Seniors Expo is a great first step,” she said. “Our team will also be on hand to guide you through what next steps you may have to take in regards to your hearing,” said Liza Sarris.
Australian Hearing provides government-subsidised hearing care for eligible people, including pensioners and most veterans.
As well as having a team of specialists at the Seniors Expo, Australian Hearing will offer free hearing checks at its offices in Northbourne Avenue, Braddon, from March 20-24, 9am-4pm.
Brindabella Hearing and Speech Centre’s expo stand will have audiologists on hand to offer advice on everything from hearing problems to the latest in hearing aids.
Practice manager Mandy Nyhof said getting help with your hearing early is important. “We have helped thousands rediscover communication through improved hearing,” she said.
Brindabella Hearing and Speech Centre has clinics in Deakin, Bruce and Erindale, as well as a regular visiting site in Queanbeyan.
